Badminton: the Albatross shine brightly

The student-athletes of the Albatros badminton team from Collège Notre-Dame de Rivière-du-Loup returned from the 2022 regional school championship covered with medals and banners. The competition was presented in Carleton, from April 1 to 3.

The Albatross won six gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal. For its part, the duo Benjamin Noël / Mya Perreault won bronze in the youngest mixed doubles.

In the cadets, the men’s singles championship title went to Olivier Hamel and the women’s singles gold medal was won by Béatrice Proulx. The Justin D’Auteuil/Renaud Pelletier duo also won the gold medal in men’s doubles. In the juvenile category, Louis-Philippe Gilbert won the silver medal in men’s singles.
