The arrival of Evaristo Pérez on the bench of Innova-tsn Leganés was revealed without a doubt as one of the keys for the cucumber team to retain the category. Recovered for the Endesa Women’s League after a long period in the background, the former national coach put a lot of common sense from the bench and used his enormous experience to overcome many obstacles.
“Evaristo has been fundamental,” says José Jacinto Ramos, convinced that “the arrival of a technician with his experience has been fundamental to focus the objective and overcome all the difficulties, including the wave of covid that destabilized the team. It was a critical moment and he knew how to cope with it”, explains the president, who has no qualms about classifying his incorporation as “an absolute success. It was a difficult decision at the time, but it has been very successful”.
It is not surprising, then, that the Leganense club has set the continuity of the professional from Palencia as a priority objective for the new project, who in principle would also be due to the work of continuing to lead the team with the added advantage that in this occasion it could be in charge of participating in the configuration of the template.
The idea is that both parties, who have already maintained some informal contact in this regard, meet again in the coming days so that the renewal can be finalized and made official sooner rather than later.
