The Mariners of Puerto Plata acquired Richard Polanco in a change from the Santiago Metros and in his place was sent the point guard Oliver García.
Polanco is a 24-year-old striker, 6-8 tall, with great athletic ability, refined game in the paint and who will be available on the roster for the next 2022 season of the Dominican Basketball League (LNB).
His integration will give greater depth in the key to the group that already has MJ Rhett and Miguel Evangelista.
Polanco is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and had several years with the Santiago team.
