Team Défi Scott
No less than 90 Brogélians made the trip to the Coliseum to attend the top-of-the-table Pro B match between Elan and St Chamond, but also to see the reunion of Scott, the mascot, and Croco. The Chalonnais had possession to win the match but they could not convert it. They let their evening opponents escape at the top of the championship.
CS de Mervans-U9 M : 0-0
Congratulations to the baby crocos who come back from Mervans with a victory on the score of 4 periods won and 2 periods tied. They are progressing with each outing and it shows on the pitch.
CS St-Loup Geanges-U15 W : 38-35
This trip to St-Loup marked a stage in the season for the girls of the Entente Féminine: they were going to face a team in contention for the title, just like them. They played eye to eye against the local players but ran behind the score all match. They got back to -1 before the money time but the last period is to be put to the benefit of the players in green. Defeat 38 to 35. This does not yet mortgage the possibilities of aiming for the title for the Blue and Roses even if it will go through a no-fault on their part.
AS Tournus-U15 M : 46-38
This Saturday, Nicolas’ proteges made the trip to Tournus without their usual leaders. This made it possible to test Léo and Maxime in the role. The match starts timidly on both sides but the locals find the breach at the end of the 1st QT and take a lead of 7 after 8 minutes: 10-3. Until half-time, the Blacks and Pinks put in place what is proposed by the coach and find access to the basket more easily. Unfortunately, they only completed one point at the break. They continue on the 3rd QT with more success and find themselves at 2 points at the start of the money-time. But the last period is to the advantage of the Tournusiens who manage to score against a Brogelian defense that is too permeable. In the end, despite a good match, they came back from Tournus with a 46-38 defeat.
Mosteois basketball club-Seniors F : 51-45
In the 2nd pool match, the Seniors F had to show something other than what they had done against Sancé. And it was in Palinges that it had to happen. They started the match well, with a 13-point lead after 15 minutes of play. But something must have gone wrong and the local players recovered to 5 points at half-time. Nothing is going well with the Blacks and Roses during the 3rd QT lost 25 to 9. They find a little of their basketball in the last QT but the gap dug by the palingeoises before the money time cannot be filled at the end of the match . Defeat 45 to 51.
U17 M-US San Rémoise St-Rémy: 45-126
By welcoming the San-Rémois this Sunday, the Blacks and Roses expected a difficult match. And in view of the final score (45 to 126), we can say that they had it. The players of Saint-Rémy therefore impose their game against the protégés of Gabin and continue to prance at the top of the upper hen of the U17s of Saône-et-Loire.
ASA Vauzelle-Basket Armchair: 10-60
Players in the wheelchair basketball section do not have much opportunity to make friendly matches against neighboring clubs. So as soon as it presents, everyone responds present, even if it involves 4 hours of road round trip. This Sunday, they therefore responded positively to the invitation of the Varennes-Vauzelles Handibasket club to play the opening match of their Seniors M. As soon as they arrive, the players are pampered by the local club: aperitif and sandwich allow them to apprehend the match in the best conditions. The 1st QT allows the 2 teams to gauge each other and open their counters one after the other. The Vauzelliens take advantage of the generosity of the Brogélian defense to stay in contact after 10 minutes of play. During the 2nd QT, the Whites and Roses close access to the racket with their zone defense and widen the gap in attack. The 2nd half will be like this QT but this time with an individual defense. The Whites and Pinks are intractable and leave little space for attacks. But the locals do not lose hope and will continue to try their luck until the end. The final score is 60 to 10 for the Brogéliens but the important thing is that the 2 teams enjoyed this meeting and that the revenge at the JB Dumay hall takes place in such good conditions.
Mosteois basketball club-Seniors M : 64-73
This Pre-Regional Men’s Championship is rather open. This weekend, the Blacks and Roses went to Palinges, the club which had brought down the undefeated leader of the first leg last week. Aware of this, the Brogéliens come with an experienced team that will play eye to eye with the young Palingeois. The difference in scoring is in favor of the visitors during QTs 2 and 3. The Seniors M win the match with a score of 73 to 64 and return to the title contenders. But this place is still accessible by 5 teams.
