COMMENT: No money, no win, no Council! Sparta could help the drowning Jablonec

Jablonec experienced something similar only perhaps once, in 1999, when before the last lap, together with Pilsen, it was only a point separated from Opava on the descent rung. Now the situation is worse, the fall is much steeper. After all, a year ago Jablonec took third place and played the Conference League in the autumn, collecting over 110 million crowns. Even because of this, it is quite surprising that Jablonec allegedly still has problems with payment morale this season, players do not receive payouts regularly.

Probably one of the biggest crises of its first league history is now partially solved in Jablonec by the departure of experienced coach Petr Rada, who has been tapping players for four and a half years. During his era, the owner Miroslav Pelta celebrated only one promotion to the basic group of the European Cup and sold a number of players. The grace of President Miloš Zeman, who has already indicated by the pardon of the castle official that everything is possible, can also shuffle the cards. How Pelt’s case turns out is crucial for the club’s future, and everything will depend on it.

However, one solution to the difficult situation in Jablonec is already emerging. It is a greater cooperation with the Prague Sparta. There are reports that Letenští will catch the representative Jaroslav Zelený after the season, as well as that he could become a kind of farm of the Prague club. Young Spartans visiting Na Střelnici could be a common occurrence. Jablonec could thus survive even if Pelt’s case did not turn out as he had imagined. But first he has to save himself in the highest competition.
