To find a solution, or at least a track, on the yellow of corpse of a woman with a severed head found along the Po river the carabinieri of the company of Rovigo who investigate the case have released images of the clothes found in the black bag where the remains were also found. A blue denim shirt, embroidered red flowers and green leaves, blue trousers and a light purple blouse with rose embroideries on the lapel.
The photograph was released by the military on the recommendation of the Rovigo Public Prosecutor’s Office. It is also not completely clear that the clothes belonged to the woman whose remains are found – although conditions suggest it. The state in which the clothes were found have suggested that the body in the bag was thrown into the river last month. About three weeks before the date of the discoverywhich took place on the 4th of April.
To discover the bag at the height of the municipality of Occhiobello with the human remains, in the morning, was Davide Martini, maintainer of the river employed by the interregional agency for the Po (Aipo). From the boat the man had noticed something about a group of rocks that had emerged due to the drought, not far from the bank of the Malcanton curve.. “It was a black sports bag with long handles and you could see leather in the upper part from which flaps of purple fabric also came out”, said the man.
In the meantime, the investigations continued with the extraction of DNA from the corpse. The genotypic profile is too generic to add other information to that already in the possession of the investigators. The woman would be between 25 and 30 years old, Caucasian race, with no particular signs such as scars or tattoos. She was reportedly thrown into the water about 20 days before the discovery. The Carabinieri of the Rovigo Investigative Unit are concentrating their research on people without family ties, having not found a match in the databases of missing persons. No complaint.
The leads currently hypothesized do not exclude a murder that arose in a context of prostitution. The possibility that the body could be of the two missing women, Isabella Noventa and Samira El Attar, has been ruled out. Both women at the center of unsolved cases that occurred in Veneto, the first in 2016 and the second in 2019. Andreaa Rabciuc, the 27 year old archery champion who disappeared into thin air on March 12 in the province of Ancona, after a party in the countryside with friends. It was her mother who reported her disappearance.
