Ilana Bouvier shone in the European Cup on April 9, beaten by Lieke Derks in the final after eliminating three Italians

Beaten in the first round in mid-March in Coimbra, the junior (-78 kg) of La Couronne Grand-Angoulême Judo distinguished herself in Lignano, on the other side of the Alps. And it is initially a mini-championship of Italy that Bouvier will have had to deliver. Winner of Matilde Notti in the first round, the Couronnaise then eliminated another Transalpine, Carolina Mengucci. In the semi-finals, the third Italian on Bouvier’s menu eliminated Irene Caleo with an ippon in just 13 seconds. The Charentaise finally lost to the Dutch Lieke Derks and took a good second place. Less success for Marie Desangle (-70 kg). The second Couronnaise engaged in Italy bowed as soon as she entered the running against the local Alessia Beolchi and was not fished out.
