MEXICALI, Baja California. Cova`s Batting Camp advanced in the series of the Grand Final of the 1st Force of the Urban Baseball League by defeating Motores Méndez 4-1 and 9-3 and placed ahead in the series 2-0.
En the morning game, Jesús Carlos was the figure of the game by pitching nine complete innings, giving up six hits, one run, two walks, but prescribed ten strikeoutswhile Yair Lozoya carried the disaster by pitching eight innings, allowing thirteen hits, four runs, giving away six walks and fanning seven rivals.

The best at bat for the winners were, Juan Beltrán who batted 2-4 driving in one run, in addition Jordan Solorio finished 2-3 with two runs scored and one produced, while for Motores Méndez, Antonio Lozano went 3- 1 with a single and one produced.
For the evening game, Carlos Covarrubias’s pupils were victorious again by defeating Motores Méndez 9-3. Francisco Córdova won the victory, worked five innings, gave up three lines, five hits and fanned two rivals, the loser was Mario García, pitching only a third of the inning, allowing four runs and giving away four walks.
The best in the offense for Cova’s were Jonathan Santana who went 2-for-3 including a two-run double in the first inning, for Motores Méndez, Gustavo González finished 3-for-5 with three singles.
The third match of this grand final will be played at Campo Álvaro Escamilla next Sunday, April 10, at 9:00 in the morning.
