This year’s FZ Forza Dutch International was won in the men’s race by the Dane Magnus Johannessen.
He was too strong for Firman Abdul Kholik from Indonesia in two sets at the international badminton tournament at Velo in Wateringen this afternoon. The great Dutch trump Joran Kweekel had already died in the semifinals the day before, after losing to Kholik.
In the women’s final there was a final between two players from Malaysia, with Myisha Mohd Khairul coming out as the winner in three sets. Both in the women’s and mixed doubles the overall victory was for a couple from Hong Kong. A Danish duo was the best in the men’s doubles.
It was already the 21st edition of the Dutch International. The tournament has been canceled for the past two years due to the corona pandemic.
