An excellent 18-8 won away from the Wizard Azzurra from Villafranca

Departure with a bang for Trento Baseball in the Under 14 championship. In fact on the field of Villafranca, against the Wizard Polisportiva Azzurra, the Trentino won 18 to 8.
The match, which started at 10.30 with Trento in attack, saw the wolves immediately take home 5 points with Mattia Corradini (one of the two called up for the blue selections), Marco Mulas, Emilio Peterlana, Tolomeo Cinquemani and Elia Stefenelli.
This allowed the guys of Manager Luca Dematté, assisted by Cuban SuperCoach Ernesto Del Rio, to start in the right gear, which allowed the Trento team to easily control the rest of the match.
In fact, the skill of our pitcher, in the first inning in defense, made it possible to close the score with a resounding zero for the opponents, who suffered a further point from the wolves in the second inning, immediately equalized in the attack phase.
In the third inning the Trentino players still pressed on the accelerator, getting 5 points again and giving two points to their opponents in the defense phase, thus setting the partial result on an excellent eleven to three.
Fourth inning of control for the Trentino, with two points in attack and one in defense, while the fifth and last inning was characterized by the only Home Run of the day, that of Emilio Peterlana, which in fact allowed him to bring in dowry three points (those of Corradini and Mulas, in addition of course to his own).
Federico di Stefano and Samuel Pegoretti are also still on point, thus setting the score at 18.
Last inning in attack for the hosts, with the Trentino people very relaxed and who have granted 4 points to the Veronese, to conclude with a brilliant 18 to 8.
To be noted the excellent performance of Marco Mulas who from the first base in defense has eliminated four opponents with three catches of which one double.
On the mound, however, Emilio Peterlana, Federico Di Stefano, Mattia Corradini and Samuel Pegoretti alternated.
The next match for the wolves will be the home derby, on April 24th, against the athletes of the CUS Trento.
The meeting will be held at the Via Fersina field starting at 10.00.
