It is often complicated for a son of a legend to make his mark in the professional world. Enzo Zidane learned this the hard way and only Jordi Cruyff managed to thwart this consistency.
Didier Drogba’s son seems to be no exception. The 21-year-old striker has been playing in Portugal since September where he played with the U23 team.
The problem is that he has not appeared at the training center since January after asking permission to return briefly to France to take school exams.
“We agreed on a return date and he didn’t show up. We don’t know anything and we don’t know if he’ll be back”explains Miguel Carvalho, his trainer.
A lack of involvement that could cost him dearly.
