DIM loses at home against Inter and gives up the lead of the group

He came out of his blockhouse and lost his powers. He finished undefeated. Independiente Medellín did not know how to manage Alemão’s goal in a very tough match against Internacional, which withstood its victory (0-1), when its rival woke up, in Daniel’s saves to take the top of Group E in the Copa Sudamericana with five pointsone more than those of Comesaña.

Another very uncomfortable first time for the Powerful. At Hernán Ramírez Villegas de Pereira, it was difficult for him to structure his game and he only let off steam with what his wingers achieved when they went on the attack, but without clarity because Luciano Pons was shipwrecked between Vitão and Bruno Méndez, who were solid up front.

Comesaña chose Javier Méndez to give Colorado more respect. He did not guarantee stability and he did suffer the game because his squad could only have one real chance, beyond Vladimir’s soft shots, at 39′ when Yulián Gómez got off the hook and demanded goalkeeper Daniel, in a situation that he had to resolve with Pons, who was free to finish.

But that incursion of the Colombian cast was a reaction to the attacks of those directed by Mano Menezes, that from minute 26 they began to play very close to Andrés Mosquera Marmolejo when Fabricio Bustos, Edenilson and Wanderson participated more in the game.

Those from Porto Alegre, in a great collective play, came close to the goal with Gabriel’s shot, but he could not beat Marmolejo, a hero a few minutes later with his double intervention when he saved Edenilson and then he went decisively for the rebound to avoid Alemão’s definition.

The Alemão goal, Daniel’s saves and Comesaña’s strange decisions

In the plugin, the DIM was completely unconfigured. It had started better. Even Méndez was nothing to open the scoring, but Daniel flew to avoid the goal. Marmolejo did not have the same luck in a defensive failure that ended in Alemão’s goal at 53′ after a great maneuver by Rodrigo Dourado after the visitor entered Juan Guillermo Arboleda from the side, Comesaña’s strange bet for the last 45 ′.

As it happened against Guaireña and October 9, had to row against the current, but this time he did not react soon and that’s where the game began to go in the middle of a lot of changes to look for those feats to which he got used to.

Comesaña took out Loaiza and Arregui, and left Méndez in charge, to add elements to the attack with Edward López and Diber Cambindo. Later, Bryan Castrillón joined as a last resort against a Medellín team that played more with emotion than reason. The script he designed in the week for an eleven in which Ricaurte never entered was no longer valid.

Between suffering and self-love, when Colorado was no longer interested in playing, Pons appeared, but he couldn’t be lethal because Daniel grew bigger and avoided the tie ten minutes from the end. At that point, the locals had already clung to the quiet ball and to raise centers.

Immersed in despair and with six minutes to spare to dream, he scratched one more chance with Castrillón, but Daniel preserved a victory that returned favoritism to Inter, at the premiere of Menezes, and injured the esteem of a wandering Medellín, who must now deal with the classic against Nacional in Envigado to secure their classification in the League.
