The French Division 1 Baseball Championship began on April 9 and 10, 2022.
Defending champion, Rouen received Montigny-le-Bretonneux and lost 6-0 in the first match before winning the second, 8-1. In the other Group A meeting, the meetings between Metz and Paris have been postponed to June 5 due to flooded ground.
Vice-champion of France, Sénart won twice at home against Nice, 7-4 and 10-0. In the other Group B meeting, the winner of the Challenge de France de Baseball 2021, Montpellier won 11-4 against La Rochelle before losing 9-1.
Toulouse and Savigny-sur-Orge were exempt.
