Hannover 96: With child millions and coach Stefan Leitl – 2nd Bundesliga

Hanover is still not sure of staying up in the second division, but 96 boss Martin Kind (will be 78 today) is already preparing to return to the Bundesliga.

Stefan Leitl (44) will succeed Christoph Dabrowski (43/contract expires). The Fürth coach was in Hanover on Monday for an interview and agreed.

Kind to Sport1: “I am convinced that he will be the new 96 coach for the next season.”

Leitl still has a contract with the relegated team until 2023, but can leave thanks to the exit clause. Hanover pays 500,000 euros.

Child: “The planned budget is around 40 million.”

Almost half of them go to the professional squad. The first transfers are imminent: Fabian Kunze (23/Bielefeld), Phil Neumann (24/Kiel), Nicolas Kühn (22/Aue) and Max Besuschkow (24/Regensburg). Havard Nielsen (28) is said to come from Fürth.

Before that, however, Leitl’s predecessor Dabrowski had to make it clear that he would stay up in the league at 96…
