The San Justo team, with team play and a great third quarter (28-18), won at home against Institución Sarmiento by 92-73. Sánchez was the top scorer with 22 points.
The Globe was a hurricane, from start to finish it controlled the match by force of defense, runs and good percentages from 6.75. Sánchez was the offensive beacon for the Mansilla team with 22 and 4 triples, well accompanied by Ortega (13) and 3 bombs, as well as a warrior in the area painted as Vieites with 14 points and 12 rebounds. For those from Santos Lugares, it did not reach the goals scored by Cocha (18) and Kot (16).
The start of the game was even with two teams with a clear mission: defend hard to be able to run, in that vein Huracán was the one who settled better with Abalo (6) as the first offensive weapon but with the tireless contribution under the board of Vieites (6 ) to take the first distance (19-10). Sarmiento responded with Kot(4) but Sánchez (7) left Globo with double figures (26-13) in the first segment.
In the second inning, a good entry from Castro (4) plus Cocha’s aim to close the gap for Santos Lugares, but Sánchez (7) was still on the green wave with the hoop for those led by Ariel Mansilla. Good passage by Ortega (5) for Huracán to go ahead (42-31) at the long break.
After talks in the locker room, the San Justo team swept, 11-0 run with the inexhaustible hand from 6.75 by Sánchez (8) to pose the difference at 22 at the start (53-31) and force Juan Carlos Mariano to ask for time out Head washing through, the visit was able to stop the bleeding, but the local gale did not stop their march until they got the maximum (61-34) after a triple by Mansilla. An almost exclusive pass by Cocha (11) reduced to (70-49) at the close of the third.
In the last ten, Hurricane lowered the intensity, and Sarmiento took the opportunity to get closer, but it was only a mirage. Those led by Mansilla were in an accurate night, to punish from 6.75 and that the gap between the two teams widen again. The final minutes passed like the entire second half, with the Globe passing the ball and punishing each lead to win 92-73.
