The exhibition of the Virgin of Sorrows in Forio gave a very exciting moment for the entire community. Among the people who wanted to give thanks to Our Lady of Sorrows, also the young twenty-year-old Foriano Nello Verde, victim of a bad car accident on November 12, 2020. After a long period in a coma and after a very long hospitalization in specialized clinics, in the past months Nello returned home surrounded by the love of his family and is continuing the long and difficult path of rehabilitation. For friends, acquaintances and family members, seeing him today in church was a strong emotion. In recent weeks he has also visited his friends of judo, the sport he practiced and is slowly trying to find what was his normality. Nello and his family have never stopped fighting and are an example for us all.
