Sadio Mane continues to be Liverpool’s mainstay in attack. This season, he has won one trophy, the Carabao Cup.
The Reds have the opportunity to win three more titles. Mane also does not stop scoring goals (he has 19 goals in 44 matches in all competitions so far) and is good at messing up the opponent’s defense.
Most recently, the 30-year-old player scored one goal in the Liverpool vs Villarreal match in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal, Thursday (28/4) early morning WIB. Liverpool won 2-0.

After the match, Juergen Klopp, Liverpool manager was asked whether Sadio Mane deserves to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or? Considering that Mane also succeeded in bringing Senegal to the African Cup of Nations title.
With a long pull, Klopp answered like this …
“Wow,” he said, patting the table.
“He is having an extraordinary season and he is an extraordinary player. 100 per cent I don’t know about the Ballon d’or nominations and such.”
“He’s a world-class player and plays well for the team. But I don’t know about the nominations and the question is also strange because the season is not over yet,” he continued.
“Historically, you have to win a title to get the Ballon d’Or. If you’re not Messi or Ronaldo, maybe you have to win the Champions League.”
“Give us a few weeks until the season is over. Sadio Mane wants to contribute and help the team, that’s what I love the most more than anything,” he concluded.
