Very first victory on the LPGA for Jennifer Kupcho, 24 years old. The American wins the Chevron Championship after a final card of 74 (+2). With a six-stroke lead at the start of the last lap, Kupcho had an eventful final day, with six pars for seven bogeys and five birdies.
Jennifer Kupcho did the work not to see her compatriot Jessica Korda come back on her heels, 3rd at the start of the last lap. The eldest of the Korda sisters completed her last lap in 69 (-3) to take second place alone, at -12 final. The young Slovenian Pia Babnik, only 18 years old and already two victories on the LET (Ladies European Tour) finished 3rd by co-signing the best card of the last lap (66).
Céline Boutier continues her excellent start to the year 2022 by signing a new Top 5, her fourth in six tournaments. Final card of 67 (-5) without bogey for the Parisian, who climbs to 6th place in the Race to CME. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard finished 35th at -3 total after her last day in 71 (-1). Same score for Perrine Delacour who finished her tournament 63rd at +1 total.
