Karim Benzema iftar Ramadan first before the opponent Chelsea. Soon enough, striker Real Madrid it scored a hat-trick.

Benzema was the star of Real Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, London, Thursday (7/4/2022) early morning WIB. The 34-year-old striker made a hat-trick.

The three goals made Madrid one step towards the Champions League semifinals. Because, the Blues had to turn around to win three goals without replying in order to overturn the aggregate and win the top four tickets.

Benzema, who became Man of the Match, apparently did not forget his obligations as a Muslim before competing. According to Sportbible, the former Lyon player broke his fast first.

Karim Benzema broke his fast in the month of Ramadan about 13 minutes before the match against Chelsea. In England, Benzema breaks his fast at around 7:47 pm, while he competes at 20:00 pm local time.

This season, Benzema himself appeared fierce with Madrid. He has scored 37 goals in all competitions, his most in a season since joining Los Blancos in 2009.

In the Champions League alone, Benzema has scored 11 goals in eight matches.

Karim Benzema’s score may still increase, given that the season is not over yet. The second leg of Real Madrid vs Chelsea will be held at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, 13 April.
