Manchester City have not lost their way in the English title battle. After Liverpool’s 2-0 win, The Citizens also had to win to regain the lead in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s team did too. 0-2 at low flyer Burnley thanks to a great opening goal from De Bruyne.
Already after five minutes Kevin De Bruyne took City in tow by winning his tenth of the season, twenty minutes later Gundogan kicked the 0-2 past Nick Pope. Raheem Sterling was the source of the goal twice.
City soon had their sheep on dry land and in the end it would also stay with that 0-2. Liverpool thus lose their leading position again to City, which is one point more than The Reds with 73 points.
