In the contract talks between Liverpool and Mohamed Salah, there has apparently been a spectacular turnaround – including new details.

In the case of Mohamed Salah, there has apparently been a spectacular about-face: After it last seemed as if the Egyptians and Liverpool FC had clearly moved away from each other, according to the Daily Mail much to a contract extension.

As the English newspaper reports, Salah is now ready to accept his employer’s generous offer. Salah is moving away from the required annual salary of around 30 million euros and should now “only” ask for 25 million. In return, the Reds should now offer him a contract for four and not just three years.

Salah’s current contract runs until 2023, with four more years the 29-year-old would probably end his career in Liverpool. In the past few months, he had been associated with a move to FC Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain, among other things.
