Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte insists his team are in high confidence. City are confident that they can win the Premier League this season.
“Even though we are one point ahead, we are still leading until now. We have the best chance compared to Liverpool,” he said, quoted from The Sun.
Aymeric Laporte explained, Liverpool has indeed become a tough rival for Manchester City in the last few seasons. In fact, Pep Guardiola also said that the Reds had never played a bus parking strategy.
“Just like the previous seasons, Liverpool always stick tight but in the end we can win,” he said.
“Manchester City is not afraid of any team. We will give the best to the fans,” he said.
Both Manchester City and Liverpool, each have at least eight games to play in April including in the Champions League and in the FA Cup semi-finals where the two will meet each other.
