Mandiola’s time in Olot begins with a draw in L’Hospitalet

Diego Quintero and Manix Mandiola made their debut on the bench for L’Hospitalet and Olot, respectively. In the end, neither of them was able to do it with victory.

Olot was the team that started with the clearest ideas. The Garrotxins found depth with their sides, especially Callís, who offered a duel of speed and intensity with Bandeh. After 10 minutes Ot Serrano made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to Nil who shuffled it past the keeper. Five minutes later, the young goalkeeper saved the second goal of Garrotxa with a great stop to a shot from Arranz in the mouth of the cannon. Until then, L’Hospitalet had not given a sense of danger, despite having more possession. And a penalty kick stopped by Batalla with his foot.

The second half began with L’Hospitalet taking a step forward and putting pressure on Batalla’s goal. The locals found the reward very soon, in the 49th with a corner that Parera combed the first post for Ripoll who finished with pleasure in the second. Local dominance extended to the equator in the second half, when the game began to break down. Xumetra tried it several times from the front of the area, also Kilian who in recent games has again shown details of his best version and also Arranz, who even saw the referee cancel him an offside goal. For its part, Hospitalet had the clearest of the game with a one-on-one that Ripoll could not score due to a great intervention of Batalla.
