Mathis Dufraigne, a 14-year-old Pujaulain who qualified for the French judo championships on Saturday March 26 and Sunday March 27, in Villebon-sur-Yvette (near Paris) became France’s minimum champion of – 42 kg .
After a marathon day (seven fights and seven victories), Saturday March 26, Mathis obtains the supreme title of champion of France.

Registered at the Pujaut judo club, in the footsteps of his father, he had Michel Guérin as a teacher. Then Mathis had to join the Villeneuve club to find judokas corresponding to his category.
Today, a student at Le Mourion college, he trains five times a week in the nearby gymnasium with Claire and Jérémy Buisson. Mathis is a blue belt, his transition from minimal to cadet in 2023 will allow him to present the brown belt.
