Some features in MLB The Show 22 have been widely confirmed and improved, compared to the title released in 2021. Another great return is la Diamond Dinasty, in which we will be able to form our dream team, to be increased by obtaining extra packages and completing specific missions. In each package obtained, we will find cards representing the present and past champions of this sport, to add to our team.
Furthermore, among the most interesting modes, there are the Exhibition, the classic single game mode that allows us to play in simplicity. Back then by popular demand too la March to October, where we will be able to lead our favorite team to the World Series. And for those who love challenges, you can still compete in the Franchise mode to lead the team for the entire Regular Season. In addition to these popular but standard modes for any sports-themed game, there are some really interesting ones, such as la Challenge of the Week where we will be faced with weekly challenges that offer prizes and packages. The Moments mode is also very interesting, an indispensable challenge for all true baseball lovers, because it allows us to take part in iconic challenges or matches in the history of this sport. Finally, the mode closes the circle Home Run Derbyin which to challenge the best hitters in the League to those who hit the most home runs.
MLB The Show 22: the (few) news of the game
The real strength of this version of the most loved baseball videogame is the graphics. The movements of the gamers have been further refined compared to the past, and also the flaws that had been identified in the previous tests, have been fixed. Playing MLB The Show 22 takes us inside the stadiums, where each element contributes to giving us a feeling of truthfulness. The music, the ironic commentary of the commentators, the sounds and the lights, skilfully rendered even with time changes during the match, create a perfect mix, giving a unique experience for all those who love baseball.
Unfortunately, there are no big news compared to the previous title. In any case the Co-op mode gives a bit of freshness to this title which, despite the intrinsic beauty, still has a feeling of already seen. Matchmaking is fast enough and allows us to play alternating between the different stages of the serve with the other gamers of our team. During the defense, however, only one member of the team will be responsible for the launch, while the others will take care of the fielding. It must also be admitted that MLB The Show 22 is a title dedicated to Cross. In addition to being available on different platforms, we will be able to play against and together with gamers from other consoles. The game also supports the Cross-Save and the Cross-Progression, definitively breaking down the commercial boundary that has always existed between the various producers. Excluding these improvements, however, MLB The Show 22 remains the good old, sports video game dedicated to baseball.

Sony seems to want to bet everything on sharing for its latest title dedicated to baseball: MLB The Show 22. In addition to landing on Nintendo Switch for the first time, confirming its presence also on Xbox, the game allows us to play in a totally Cross mode : Playing, Saves and Progression. The graphics compared to the past and the test versions released in recent months, have been further refined and improved, allowing us to live a totally engaging and realistic experience. Apart from this, however, there are no big news in the field. The present modalities are always varied, allowing us to live a sparkling career, play and challenge the glories of the present and the past and simply play a game, to spend our day lightly. The confirmation of all these modalities, at the same time, does not change the feeling of repetition in some moments. Despite this, MLB The Show is confirmed to be an excellent game dedicated to baseball, which gives fans around the world the opportunity to totally immerse themselves in this fascinating sport.
