It will be dedicated to poet and writer Antonella Galuppi of Santa Croce Camerina the first appointment in April of the Quasimodo Literary Café in Modica, to be held in sSaturday 9 April, at 5.30 pm, at the Palazzo della Cultura as part of the 16th cultural season 2021-2022.
At the center of the event, after the institutional greetings, the presentation of the book “Vite a stralci”, Operaincerta editore, which will be introduced by Domenico Pisana, President of the Caffè Letterario Quasimodo; a conversation between the author and the Ragusan poet Pippo Di Noto will follow.
“With these stories of hers, says Domenico Pisana, Antonella Galuppi finds a way to give voice to her humanitas, to her elaboration of daily stories with short and effective narratives; the author opens a pentagram on which figures, facts, episodes, experiences, memories flow between the subjective and narrative creativity, thus trying to reveal themselves by narrating; in short, bits of life that make us reflect in their various facets, in their lights and shadows, touching, at times, shades of Piarandellian memory, as in the story ‘The mask’ “.
The evening, which will be coordinated by Antonella Monaca, member of Caffè Quasimodo, will be enriched by musical interludes by the Duo “Dugo – Marino”, composed by Giuseppe Dugo on clarinet and Debora Marino on piano.
Antonella Galuppi has a degree in Law, with eligibility to practice law, enrolled in the Catania Bar and specialization in “Criminology” and “Law, Protection and Protection of Minors”. You are a freelance journalist, and a support teacher in primary schools.
His publications include “L’antinomia”, a collection of poems from 2016; “Spillo & Karim” illustrated children’s story of 2004; “Sciarade”, a collection of poems from 2003 with a preface by Domenico Pisana, a collection that received the Bronze Medal at the XXVI Edition of the “Medusa Aurea” Trophy of the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome. In 2021 he also received the Federico II Sicily Prize for Culture.
