The programming of the great Quebec geek rendezvous, unveiled this Tuesday, will thus feature a fine line-up of guests who will parade in Montreal from July 8 to 10; a skewer that has absolutely nothing to envy to the pre-pandemic years.

In doing so, film fans will have the chance to meet a legend of the big screen, the British actor Malcolm McDowell (Clockwork Orange, Star Trek Generations), who will be one of the guests of honor at the event alongside a great Canadian comedian, Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall, NewsRadio, Will & Grace).

Also headlining James Marsters (the inimitable Spike in buffy the vampire slayer et Angel), Matthew Lewis et Bonnie Wright (Neville and Ginny in the saga Harry Potter), Jim Beaver (Supernatural, Deadwood), Laz Alonso (The Boys, Avatar, Fast and Dangerous), Jessie T. Usher (The Boys, Shaft, Independence Day: Resurgence), Bruce Boxleitner (Tron, Babylon 5), Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Expanse, Blood of Zeus) and the director of The Battle of Farador, Edouard A. Tremblay.

On the comic side, Comiccon will also welcome great legends of the medium, including the co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastmanthe author Peter David (The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man 2099, Supergirl), to whom we also owe nearly 50 novels Star Trek et Jim Zub (Avengers, Thunderbolts, Rick & Morty Vs. D&D).

Beyond encounters with icons of the geek universe, visitors will also be able to take part in no less than a hundred activities of all kinds over the three days that Montreal Comiccon will last.

In particular, the next edition of the meeting will see the return of the great masquerade of cosplay, as well as the artists’ alley, where creators from here and elsewhere will present their works. For families, the Family Zone will reopen with archery lessons and Nerf showdowns, among other things.

As tradition dictates, groups of costume enthusiasts will also come to liven up the Palais des Congrès, embodying, for example, mythical characters from Star Wars, Doctor Who, Star Trek et Halo.

For gaming fans, an indie game zone will also be set up within the event.

Note that tickets are already on sale at the Montreal Comiccon website. Admission will also be free on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for children aged 5 and under, as well as on Friday for children aged 6 to 12.
