NBA Hartenstein’s Clippers on course for playoff, Lakers crash

Isaiah Hartenstein of the Los Angeles Clippers slam dunks the Chicago Bulls on March 31, 2022.

Despite a defeat, Isaiah Hartenstein is still on course for the playoffs with the Los Angeles Clippers. Meanwhile, city rivals Lakers are slipping and threatening to fail early.

Isaiah Hartenstein (23) and the Los Angeles Clippers suffered a defeat in the North American professional basketball league NBA. The Clippers lost 130-135 after overtime to the Chicago Bulls, but are still on playoff course in the West in eighth place. Hartenstein was on the field for 18 minutes and had four points and four rebounds.

For the Los Angeles Lakers, however, the situation in the fight for the play-off spots is becoming increasingly threatening. Due to their 109:122 defeat at the Utah Jazz, the Lakers slipped to eleventh place in the NBA’s Western Conference and, after their fourth loss in a row, even have to worry about tenth place, which would just about entitle them to participate in the play-in tournament .

Brooklyn Nets need to keep shaking

In the east, meanwhile, the star ensemble of the Brooklyn Nets must continue to fear for its place in the championship round. The Nets conceded a bitter 119-120 after overtime against champions Milwaukee Bucks.

Man of the evening was Giannis Antetokounmpo (27). After the Bucks exceptional player had led his team into overtime with a converted three, he made the decision with two converted free throws three seconds before the end and increased his points account to 44 (14 rebounds).

Antetokounmpo replaced Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (74) as the Milwaukee Bucks’ record pitcher. Kevin Durant (33) had 26 points for the Nets, Kyrie Irving 25.
