L’ex Lakers and current top scorer of the regular season NBA, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar answered a somewhat generic question about LeBron in an interview Jameswhich asked for an opinion regarding the quite concrete and imminent possibility according to which LBJ he may “soon” overtake Kareem. When asked, very frankly, he replied like this: “ASome of the things he did and said were not worthy of him, at times he seemed to take sides on both sides of the situation. It is difficult for me to accept that he has a double opinion on every topic, it is always difficult to understand how he thinks it and you have to ask it every time “. Abdul-Jabbar he has however repeatedly reiterated that he feels profound respect and thinks many positive things about it King James but that some things he did or said were not exactly in good taste.
He also added that they met often but never talked about relevant things like social justice, yet doing things like sending a whole school to college is a wonderful thing to say that “When it comes to putting his hand to his wallet he never has any problem but should be ashamed of some things done or said”. Kareem was probably referring to the words spoken by LeBron regarding the vaccine situation against which the King he had largely sided against, or at least these were the glaring impressions that emerged from the statements.
Today a reporter asked me a question about Lebron James and I regret my off-handed response which has been blown out of proportion. For years I’ve expressed my deep admiration and respect for LeBron as a community leader and athlete. That hasn’t changed and never will. –@KeepJack https://t.co/QEWed5YovX

Abdul-Jabbar he concluded his response by saying that even if at times he wanted to criticize James he was made as if he were an older brother but that for him there is only love for him in his heart LBJ, respect and admiration for one of the best players in the history of the game: “As he nears my record I am always his first fan to happen and I am glad to pass the torch to such a deserving person“. Finally, he was also keen to respond to journalists and television broadcasters who, according to him, would have magnified everything.
