Cologne (SID) – National basketball player Daniel Theis and the Boston Celtics got off to a successful start in the play-offs of the North American professional league NBA thanks to a goal in the very last second. Superstar Jayson Tatum scored at the start of the “best of seven” series after a spectacular play with the final siren to 115:114 against the Brooklyn Nets. Theis scored four points in the heated encounter.
Tatum was the Celtics’ top scorer with 31 points. In the Nets, Kyrie Irving impressed with 39 points, and the vaccination skeptic scored 16 points in the last quarter alone. Game two will also take place in Boston on Thursday (1:00 a.m. CET).
