“I have been cleared to resume my activities and I am ready to play,” said the pivot to the daily “New York Post” on Monday, during the first day of the Giants’ special training program.
Jones also believes he can play the first game of the next season, according to SNY. Fans of the team are certainly hoping to see him at his best, especially since 2021 has not been easy for the quarterback and his teammates. He missed the last six games on the regular schedule, so New York relied on Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm to complete a painful season of four wins in 17 games.

To support Jones, the Giants acquired Tyrod Taylor, who started six games with the Houston Texans last year. His arrival is positive in the eyes of number 8.
“I am excited to work with him. He’s a guy with a lot of experience in this league,” he said before commenting on the hiring of head coach Brian Daboll, former offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills.
“His offensive units score a lot of points and create a lot of explosive plays to be successful,” he said.
Jones had 2,428 passing yards, along with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions during the most recent regular season. Going back to Taylor, who played three years at Buffalo, he had 966 passing yards and five majors against as many interceptions.
