Nike’s latest running shoes “Pegasus Turbo Next Nature” are made of recycled material with 50% of the total weight! | GQ JAPAN

“Pegasus Turbo Next Nature” is a good example of Nike’s commitment to sustainability. Following the 2021 “Air Zoom Alpha Flynext His Nature” and the basketball shoes “Cosmic Unity”, this pair is actively using recycled materials.

In terms of total weight, more than 50% of recycled materials are used in “Pegasus Turbo Next Nature”.

For the upper, a 100% recycled flyknit with a good fit was used. At least 55% of the midsole is made from recycled “Zoom X Foam” from deadstock vintage sneakers at Nike’s Oregon headquarters. Zoom X Foam is Nike’s unique material, launched in 2019, and features lightness, softness, and responsiveness. The Pegasus Turbo Next Nature is designed to give you the fastest energy returns in your Nike shoes while still driving the fastest in your life.
