Nintendo Switch Sports: The Panoramic Trailer Reveals New Information

Nintendo Switch Sports is out in less than a month, arriving as an unlikely new installment of the hugely successful but long-dormant Wii Sports series. Nintendo has released a new panoramic trailer of the game, which provides new details on several key elements of the experience. We recall that in February the Play Test online.

In the video you can see a multi-sport facility called Spocco Square will act as a hub in Nintendo Switch Sports, from where players can dive into any of the you are sport which will be available in the game at launch: tennis, badminton, soccer, chambara, bowling, and volleyball. In addition to local multiplayer, according to new details revealed by Nintendo, it appears the game will also have a rich online component. In online matches against friends, the game will also allow random match making and will offer a number of unique modes for all sports. Players can try their hand at survival bowling where 16 players face off and play all at once, while soccer will allow for 4v4 matches. The online component of the game will also have a wider progression system.

Players can work their way up to become pro in any sport by racking up victories, after which they can join that sport’s Pro League. There Pro League will start with grade E up to grade A, for a total of 12 degrees. Playing online will earn you points, which in turn will unlock various customization items in the game. The panoramic trailer confirms that the title will also have many customization options for Miis. Nintendo has also previously confirmed that in addition to the six sports it will launch with, Nintendo Switch Sports will also add a seventh in golf later this year as Free DLC.
