A big season in sight for badminton. The players of the Badminton Club Appaméen (BCAP) go back to the net on the courts. They were recently engaged in their first tournament of the season, in Montauban.
Despite a long interruption and difficulties in training indoors, the badminton players lost none of their qualities and quickly found their marks, racquet in hand. Of the five BCAP players who participated in the Montauban tournament, note the fine performance of Marie-Charlotte Monbertrand and Clément Passerini in mixed doubles series 3. They won their series after diligent encounters, with well-controlled shots, which bend their opponents.
Associated for several years, the two players are confirmed. They have also become, since the start of the school year, the new members of the BCAP office. The season is off to a good start for these two players who are showing the way for their club mates.
Among the next highlights to come, note that the Pamiers badminton players will soon be going to the tournaments of Saint-Orens, Castres and the veteran championship at Isle-sur-Tarn. An internal integration tournament is also planned for the end of October, with sport and conviviality on the menu.
The “Blackminton” evening will be back in January, as well as the national tournaments in January and June 2022. All this if, of course, the conditions are favorable for holding these events which always bring people together on and around the courts.
