Canadians Adam Hadwin, Corey Conners, Adam Svensson and Roger Sloan can all look forward to a good result at the RBC Heritage Open in Hilton Head, South Carolina, who positioned themselves well after the second round on Friday .

Hadwin and Conners had two very different days. The former took two hits from par 71, as he had done the day before, while the latter hit the white object 72 (+1) times. Nevertheless, the two compatriots share 14th place, with a cumulative of 138 (-4).

A shot behind, Svensson and Sloan are in the 23rd rung. Of the four representatives of the maple leaf still in contention, Svensson is the one who had the most difficulty on his second outing on this course, with a card of 73 (+2).

Of the other maple leaf members present at this tournament, Nick Taylor, Mackenzie Hughes and Michael Gligic were unable to secure their ticket to the weekend rounds.

Patrick Cantlay is the leader after 36 holes. The American chained a round of 66 (-5) with a card of 67 (-4). He is thus alone in the lead with a score of -9 and even has two shots ahead of his closest pursuer, the American Robert Streb.

LPGA: Hyo Joo Kim’s lead melts away

On the women’s side, Hyo Joo Kim maintained her lead at the end of the third round of the Lotte Championship in Hawaii, but she will enjoy a much less comfortable lead going into the final round than she enjoyed after 36 holes.

The South Korean bogeyed twice in the first 12 pennants of her third day of action, but she finished it with two birdies, including one on the 18th hole. She thus played the par of 72 and posted a cumulative of 206 (-10).

At the start of the final round, the American Brianna Do and the Japanese Hinako Shibuno will be her main pursuers, they who are three strokes behind.

Three Canadians were in contention at the start of this tournament. However, Brooke M. Henderson retired after 18 holes due to illness, while Maude-Aimée Leblanc and Maddie Szeryk could not avoid the cut.
