The last quinté of the week took place at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse and pitted fourteen competitors, aged 7 to 10 inclusive, over the distance of 2,100 m, the start of which was given with the help of the autostart. . As in the last three editions, this Prix Amalthea went to a competitor starting from the second row behind the car. Left very slowly and still among the last to approach the last bend, Kennedy (n°10), the favourite, gave his many takers a scare before regaining considerable ground all along the straight to come and dictate his law around the post.
Gabriele Gelormini’s partner dominates by little, but surely, Eileen (#5) and Farah des Caux (n°7), which have long deluded themselves for a better ranking. The quarter is completed by Forbach (n°11), author of a beautiful end of race, which precedes Vicki Laksmy (n°13). Heading Reference fails at the gates of the fifth and is ahead Vlad del Ronco.
