Goals: 32. Aaron Cresswell, 58. Jarrod Bowen – 53. Mason Holgate

West Ham United defeated Everton 2: 1 in the 31st round of the Premier League. The home team was sent to the lead by Aaron Cresswell in the first half, after a break Mason Holgate equalized. Later, however, Jarrod Bowen arranged the home win.

In the thirteenth minute, they started a nice combination between Bowen and Benrahma, after which Fornals bounced off the balloon upon taking over, which was used by the goalkeeper Pickford, who ran against him and neutralized the balloon.

After half an hour of play, the guests got a chance. Richarlison received a nice pass for Iwobi’s defender and then turned over Fabiański, who was assured by Frederics. In addition, the Brazilian striker Everton fouled him.

In the 32nd minute, the home team found an answer to the previous Toffees action and got the lead. Holgate knocked Bowen in front of the penalty area and Aaron Cresswell took a direct kick from about 22 meters. He did it very well, because he twisted the balloon beautifully into the upper corner out of Pickford’s reach.

Richarlison equalized in the 40th minute, when Everton took advantage of the poor position of the home players and the Brazilian received a long pass for the defense. In the end, he found himself alone in front of Fabiański, whom he wanted to shoot down with a shaft, but narrowly missed.

Shortly before the end of the first half, the “Hammers” could still score, but Antonio, after a pass between the defender and a successful handle on the goalkeeper, got the ball almost to the level of the goal line, so he only shot into the side net.

Eveton was close to leveling in the 50th minute. Rice didn’t make a balloon in the middle of the field, which Iwobi took advantage of and sent Calvert-Lewin. His heavy cannon rubbed against the crossbar and headed for the stands.

However, the guests did not see it four minutes later. The “Caramels” managed to seize the boxed corner kick, and Calvert-Lewin then deftly slammed the balloon under him, where Mason Holgate was, who had pierced everyone in front of him.

However, the joy of the equalization lasted Everton only five minutes, as the home team took the lead again in the 59th minute. Iwobi lost the ball, which was used by Antonio, who set out to escape on his own, but ended up with a blow to Pickford’s feet. However, the ball bounced directly into the path of Jarrod Bowen, who just had to send it to the empty goal.

For the last half hour, the guests had to finish by ten, because Michael Keane had to take the second yellow card in the showers. He scored a red foul for Antonia.
