Montsauche-les-Settons. Primary school to inter-department sports meetings. The pupils of CE2 and intermediate courses of the primary school of Eaux Vives will take part in a regional meeting, in May. It will take place in Moussières, in the Jura.
In order to best prepare for these three days of competition, Pauline Lucas’ students went to Digoin for an interdepartmental Usep meeting.
The teacher recalls that these regional days had been postponed. They were initially scheduled for May 2020. She also specifies that the objective of this meeting was to get to know this school from Saône-et-Loire which will also participate in these regional competitions in the Jura.
In the first part of the day, the children discovered curling, took part in a biathlon consisting of two events, running and archery. They also took part in a debate on disability. Secondly, they were able to confront their counterparts through board games.
“This is a great day of discussion and sharing! “, concluded Pauline Lucas. The children are eager to meet on Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 May, in the Jura.
