A jury made up of two journalists from IDEAL chooses the candidates for the different categories and a free vote will determine the winners.
‘Radio Marca Granada’ will hold its first awards gala next Thursday, May 19, at the CajaGranada Foundation Theatre, with capacity for 300 spectators in seats. In this event, the protagonists of Granada sport in recent months will be recognized. Renowned sports journalist Vicente Ortega will act as master of ceremonies.
A jury made up of ten members, including two journalists from the IDEAL newspaper – its head of Sports, Rafael Lamelas, and José Ignacio Cejudo – deliberated on the candidates for the different categories. The winners of the awards for the most promising, improvement, best coach, best club, best athlete and Granada sports legend will be determined by a free vote already open on the ‘Radio Marca Granada’ website. In addition, the ‘Nissan Granadamoción Team Engine’ award will also be given to Granada CF’s best player of the season, while the award for Sports Promotion goes to the Granada-based company SIMA and the ‘Special Gala Award’ It will be awarded to Motrileño Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
