“Rafael Nadal will be the GOAT if he wins Roland-Garros”

Former Argentinian tennis player Jose Luis Clerc doesn’t think Roger Federer will win a Grand Slam again. He said that Rafael Nadal will be the greatest tennis player of all time if he wins the French Open.

Federer, 40, is recovering from knee surgery, while Nadal won a record 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. Nadal has 21 Major titles, while Federer and Novak Djokovic are tied for second with 20 Grand Slam titles each.

“If Nadal wins Roland Garros, he will be the greatest of all time. The one who I think will not win another Grand Slam is Roger. Those of us who love this sport want Federer to be forever, but he is not.

People tell me ‘Roger is the best’, but for me, whoever wins the most Grand Slam titles will be the greatest in history,” Clerc said.

Nadal and Djokovic will face off for the French Open title

Many believe that this year’s French Open could be the key to the debate over the ultimate championship title.

Patrick Mouratoglou, a renowned tennis coach, recently explained the significance of this year’s French Open. “If you look at the start of the season and if you look at the overall situation, Novak is in the lead for me.

He wins more Grand Slams than anyone every year, so he’s the big favorite to win more Grand Slams than anyone. But because of this COVID thing, he hasn’t been able to play most of the year, so he’s missing a lot of games.

And on the other hand, Rafa gained a lot of confidence because, as Novak wasn’t playing, he won almost everything. Novak had a big advantage and with what happened Rafa is now ahead.

But then Rafa got injured and he won’t be able to play enough this year, then it comes back to a sort of balance,” Mouratoglou said in a clip posted to his Instagram.
