The rector of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, Juan José Ruiz, has received the UMH students who have participated in the Spanish University Championship (CEU) of Badminton. The UMH team has achieved the third national position in all badminton competitions and the gold medal in men’s doubles.
The vice-rector for Inclusion, Sustainability and Sports, Raúl Reina, accompanied the athletes at this reception. The event was attended by the four members of the UMH team, which won third place: Alberto Perals, Miguel Esteve, Jose Antonio López and María López.
In addition, in the CEU of Badminton, organized by the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), Alberto Perals and Miguel Esteve were proclaimed champions of Spain in the men’s doubles category. Alberto Perals was runner-up in individual.
