As part of its preparation for the senior selections, the Seysses Martial Arts judo ju-jitsu traveled to Andorra for an international tournament. Three Seyssois were on the tatami: Nolwenn Raud, Antony Parra and Charly Kubiec.
This competition took place in two phases, a first in pool and a second in the direct elimination table. Antony performed well but could not access the second phase. Charly entered the final table. He had a great run but lost in the fight for the bronze medal and finished 5th. Finally, Nolwenn reached the final, she had to bow in this one but hung a beautiful silver medal.
The next day, four Seyssois took part in the UV combat for the 2nd dan. Still cadets for the most part, they fought against juniors and seniors. Victor Kubiec added 10 points to his counter, Tristan Raud hung 20 points and Maxime Caujolle garnered 7 points. For Nolwenn, it was the second day of competition after a long week of preparation. Even if she did not lose any fight, too tired, she hung only 10 points more for her 2nd dan.
