The Smile Badminton Club (Chairman Ahn Jae-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it delivered a donation to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the opening of the Asan Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Chang-Ho Lee) on the 18th.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Smile Badminton Club Vice Chairman Lee Kyung-ja, General Secretary Moon Seok-ho, and Lee Jung-soon members, Asan City Disabled Welfare Center Director Lee Chang-ho, Secretary General Yoon Chang-il, and Leisure Sports Support Team Leader Choi Yong-yun.
On behalf of the Smile Badminton Club, Vice Chairman Lee Kyung-ja said, “I am grateful to the Smile Badminton Club as well as the welfare center that is always working hard to improve the health and quality of life of the disabled.” expressed his feelings.
Lee Chang-ho, director of the Asan Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, “I would like to thank the people with disabilities who are in need of help every year, and I would like to thank them for their sharing in a difficult situation for everyone due to COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, Smile Badminton Club has been operating every Wednesday and Thursday (14:00~17:00) as a club development project for the Asan Welfare Center for the Disabled since 2004. In the 9th Samsung Electric Cup National Paralympic Badminton Competition, the men’s four-member team won the championship, and in 2015, the women’s four-member team won the second Daejeon Seo-gu Office Manager’s National Paralympic Badminton Championships.
