Smith productive for Barcelona in Euroleague quarter-finals – Basketball

“Barcelona” beat Munich’s “Bayern” with 75:66 (26:17, 23:14, 10:18, 16:17), leading the way to three victories in the series with 2-1.

Smith played for 21 minutes and 24 seconds, becoming the second most productive basketball player on his team. He scored five of the six two-point shots and both free throws. He also has five basketball balls in his match, two assists, one foul, one personal remark and a provoked foul on the opponent, and the third highest efficiency in the team.

Nikola Mirotičs scored 25 points and six rebounds at the Barcelona club.

For Munich, Vladimir Lucich scored 17 points and six balls, Agustin Rubit scored 14 points and eight rebounds, and Ognien Yaramaz scored 13 points.

The quarter-finals series lead to three victories for one team. The teams that won the first round of the play-off will compete in the final four in Belgrade in May.

Also this season, ten countries with 18 teams were represented in the Euroleague, which is the same as in the previous season, but after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, three Russian teams were excluded from the tournament.

Last season, the champion was Istanbul’s “Anadolu Efes”, which defeated “Barcelona” in the final.
