Sports Merit Award 2021, Cuore Sportivo and Camuno of the year: here are the athletes to whom they were awarded

The Vallecamonica Mountain Community awarded the athletes, teams and associations of Vallecamonica that have distinguished themselves in the various sports disciplines in 2021 with the “2021 Sports Merit Award”.

There were 35 athletes and teams who took the stage of the Cinema theater Giardino di Breno Friday evening, accompanied by local administrators, to withdraw the recognition assigned to them following the important results achieved at regional, national or international level. An appointment that has become over the years a moment to recognize, in addition to the commitment of those who engage in sport, the role of “flag” of the Camunian territory in Italy, in Europe and in the world.

The evening was broadcast live on Teleboario and saw as the first protagonists the Paralympic champion of Pisogne Giuseppe Romele and the guide of Giacomo Bertagnolli, the Darfense Andrea Ravelli, to whom the Mountain Community wanted to deliver a special recognition for having also given to the Camuni indescribable emotions to Paralympics 2022.

Merit awards continued in the martial arts: in karate awarded Emanuele and Aurora Pendoli, Giacomo Bontempi and Fulvio Sembinelli, while in judo the first went to the brothers Elia and Stefano Salvetti.

There are also many Camuni athletes who have distinguished themselves in motor sports: in trial e nel bike trial the brothers Diego and Fabio Mazzola, Alessio Bonomelli, Matteo Tonidandel and Mirko Pedretti; Matteo Bonetti and Luca Giacomelli and Beatrice Grola for quad racing.

In artistic gymnastics the winning champion was Mario Gabossi, in athletics the results of Francesco Pernici, Samira Manai, Paolo Gosio and Francesco Agostini were recognized.
Swami Puritani and Paola Benigni received the award for their merits in horse riding, while Marco Salvadori has established himself in alpine skiing. Samuele Faustinelli instead achieved results in skeet shooting.

Also reward teams and associations: Master Rapid Skf Cbl Karate, Motoclub Sebino, Vallecamonica Kick boxing and Us Malonno and 555.

Also awarded the awards Sporting heart – assigned to our home athletics “guru” Innocente Agostini, 82, founder of Atletica Vallecamonica (in the photo with Paolo Gosio) – and the prize Camuno of the Yearestablished this year and went to Davide Guarneri, after the world success in enduro.
