SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Devin Vassell had 22 points, Keldon Johnson added 21 and the San Antonio Spurs retained 10th place in the Western Conference, beating the Portland Trail Blazers 130-111 on Friday night.

San Antonio’s All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray was ruled out of the game at the last minute due to a respiratory condition, though it was reportedly not COVID-19.

Eight Spurs players scored in double figures, including Zach Collins with 15. In addition, Collins had a career-high five assists against his previous team.

Portland, which lost its sixth straight game, was led by Keon Johnson, who scored 20 points. Brandon Williams added 17.

The Spurs have alternated with the Los Angeles Lakers in 10th and 11th place this week. The tenth position is the last one that grants the right to dispute the playoff mini-tournament to the playoffs.
