Iga Swiatek will be number one in the tennis world for the first time at the beginning of April. The Pole won her second round match against Viktorija Golubic from Switzerland at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami on Friday (local time) 6:2,6:0 and will thus take the lead in the world rankings after the tournament from April 4th. At 20, Swiatek is the youngest leader since Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki in 2010.
