Anna Elendt from Frankfurt improved another German record at the swimming meeting in San Antonio/Texas. After twice beating the German record over 100 meters at the Pro Swim Series, she also set a record over 200 meters breaststroke. In 2:24.63 minutes, she broke the five-year-old record set by Jessica Steiger from Gladbeck (2:25.00) and also the standard time for the European Championships in Rome from August 11th to 21st. Once again, only Olympic champion Lilly King from the USA was faster in Texas with a time of 2:23.69 minutes.
