Latvian footballer Igors Tarasov scored in the first game of the Cyprus Cup semi-final on Tuesday and helped Ahna’s “Ethnikos” team win.
“Ethnikos” won Larnaca AEK with the result 2: 1.
Tarasov was the starting lineup and spent the entire 90 minutes on the pitch. He scored the goal in the 24th minute, when after a concentration in the penalty area, the teammate forwarded the ball to Tarasov on the goalkeeper’s line, the Latvian footballer fouled correctly – 1: 0.
The semi-final response game is scheduled for next Wednesday.
In the first match of the second semi-final, “Omonia” defeated the players of “Anorthosis” with 2: 0 (2: 0).
