The competitions of the Brianza archers, the blue Giaccheri (Seveso) fifth in Cantalupa

At the “Two days of arrows”, at the Federal Center, in the first competition of the Olympic bow division, senior category. Teams, worth mentioning for Arco Monza and Brianza gold medal in the Olympic arc of the master training.

Brianza archers with infallible aim. They confirmed this in the various races in which they took part in this period. First of all in the “Two days of arrows” at the Federal Center of Cantalupa where all the Azzurri were present, including Tanya Giaccheri (Air Force). The athlete from Brianza who is part of the Club Bosco delle Querce di Seveso, in the first race of the Olympic arch division, senior category, was classified in fifth place, in the second in seventh. Among the results achieved by the other archers who performed in Cantalupa, two consecutive second places stand out, obtained by Alessio Mangerini (Arc.del Sole – Solaro) in the junior category.

From Cantalupa to Crema: in the country shooting competition organized by Cremarchery in Cascina Pierina, three medals were won by athletes of the Burarco Vimercate company: two individual silver in the naked arch by Marina Mostardini (senior) and Maria Giuseppina Varisco (master’s degree). With these results and with Silvia Panizzolo’s fourth place in the Olympic arc, the senior team of Burarco took second place.

In Darfo Boario Terme (3D race – three-dimensional targets) in the instinctive arc, Roberto Novelli and Fedele Martino (Compagnia d’Archi – Meda) respectively won the silver and bronze medals; fourth place for Lucia Maria Griffini (instinctive) and Mauro Angelo Galimberti (naked).

Numerous Brianza archers won medals in the indoor competition in Olgiate Molgora. First of all in individual competitions by two archers of the Monza and Brianza Company: Simone Canzi (Olympic arch) and Roberto Pancot (naked). Two master archers from the Polisp Bellusco Archery Section also won medals. They are Simona Biella (gold – naked) and Giovanni Cacciamani (bronze – Olympic). In addition, the athletes of the Arcieri del Sole di Solaro company have won three medals: in the naked bow, senior, Cristiano Trolese (gold) and Fabio Capoferri (silver); in the compound master, Marco Balladori (bronze).

In the rankings reserved for the teams, the medals won by the Monza and Brianza Arch stand out: gold in the Olympic arch from the master training with Simone Canzi, Massimo Marenghi, Maurizio Cecchetto; silver from the senior team with Oscar Daverio, Attilio Vignola, Maurizio Parravicini; another silver in the naked arch from the team with Roberto Pancot, Francesco Sgura, Valerio Montanari. Finally, the senior team Arcieri del Sole Solaro won gold with Cristiano Trolese, Fabio Capoferri, Massimo Egidio Volpi.
